Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following temporary postions under different projects tenable at CDRI, Lucknow as under:

1. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II - 02 Nos.: under the DST sponsored project entitled " Lead optimization" and development of new orrally active animated peroxides."
   Tenure of project: upto 31/03/2008
   Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class M. Pharma degree
   Desirable: should have exposure to analytical techniques particularly HPLS and LC MS


2. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II - 01 Nos.: under the DST sponsored project entitled " Cloning, expression and characterisation of filarial acetylcholinesterase"
   Tenure of project: upto 31/03/2009 Emoluments: Rs. 8000/- PM (fixed)
   Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class M. Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology
   Desirable: CSIR-UGC LS/GATE qualified


3. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II - 01 Nos.: under the DST sponsored project entitled " Diversity oriented organic sythesese of small but smart molecules in drug "
   Tenure of project: upto 31/03/2009 Emoluments: Rs. 8000/- PM (fixed)
   Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class M. Sc. in Organics Chemistry or M. Pharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
   Desirable: should have exposure to in multistep synthetic organic transformation
   
4. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II - 12 Nos.: under the DST sponsored project entitled " Development of Potential Drugs from Ocean"
   Tenure of project: Maximum period of 5 years. Emoluments: Rs. 8000/- PM (fixed)
   Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class M.Pharma/ MVSc./M.Sc. or Equivalent degree with specialisation in Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutical chemistry/ analytical Chemistry/ Drug Metabolisation & Pharmacokinetics/ biochemistry., Zoology and Life Sciences.Desirable: the candidates must have skill in computer application for software based instrument handling as well as data recording.
   
5. (a) PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II - 19 Nos.: under the MOH & FW sponsored project entitled " Reproduction Health Research Programme."
   Tenure of project: upto Maximum period of 5 years. Emoluments: Rs. 8000/P.M. (Fixed)
   Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class Msc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Natural Product Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry or M. Pharma degree
   Desirable: CSIR-UCS LS/GATE qualified.


6. 5-(b)PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II - 01 Nos.: under the MOH & FW sponsored project entitled " Reproductive Health Research Programme."
   Tenure of project: One year only. Emoluments: Rs. 8000/-p.m. (fixed)
   Qualifications: Essential: Masters Degree in Computer Applications (MCA)
   Desirable: MCA and/or CCNA Certification with experience in maintaining/troubleshooting a LAN of minimum of 150 nodes. Job requirements: to rectify day to day problems with the network and to work on its quality enhancements.
   
7. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II - 07 Nos.: under the GTP sponsored project entitled " CSIR Golden Triangle Partnership"
   Tenure of project: One year. Emoluments: Rs. 8000/- p.m. (Fixed)
   Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class M. Pharma / MVSc./ M.Sc. or equivalent degree with specialisation in Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutical chemistry/ analytical chemistry/ Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics/ biochemistry, Zoology and Life Sciences.
   Desirable: Must have skill in computer application for software based intruments handling as well as data recording.


8. CSIR GATE-JRF - 05 Nos
   Emoluments: Rs. 8000/- p.m. 9fixed) + HRA
   Qualifications: 1st Class M. Pharma with valid GATE percentile of 90% and above.

Age Limit: The upper age limitis 28 years as on 18/08/06. relaxable by 5 years for applicants belonging to SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
