(World Bank Aided), Water Works Complex, Phase 2, Mohali – 160054.

A Rural Water Supply & Sanitation project for Punjab State has been approved with the financial assistance from World Bank. The scope of project provides for improvement of drinking water supply & sanitation in rural sector of the state.

Application are invited from eligible candidates for the following project related posts in District Programme Management Cells which are to be filled purely on contractual basis for a period of one year (extendable by the competent authority upto project peried i.e. 5 years). Eligible candidates may apply online upto 17/03/2008.

1. Community Mobilization Specialist (For SPMC) : 01 post, Qualification : MSW with 5 years experience in community mobilization using participatory methodology.
2. Office Assistant (2 in SPMC and 1 in each DPMC) : 22 posts, Qualification : Any Graduate with one year experience in English Stenography with shorthand speed of 80 WPM and transcription speed of 15 WPM along with proficiency in MS Office and Office Management.
3. Data Entry Operator (4 in SPMC and 2 in Each DPMC) : 44 posts, Qualification : 10+2 in first division or graduation in second division with one-year experience in Computers having knowledge of MS Office/ Data Processing Packages with typing speed 40 wpm or more of English. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of working in the Department of Water Supply & Sanitation and having knowledge of typing in Punjabi language
   

Age : between 18 to 35 years (40 years in case of Community Mobilization Specialist post) (Maximum age limit relaxable as per Punjab Government instructions)
