Setup by the Govt. of Punjab in 1995 under the Department of IIFT, Mohali invites applications for the following faculty posisition in the pay scale Rs.72220-11660.
- Assistant Professros : 06 posts (Fashion Design-2, Textile Design-1, Textile Technolgy/ Textile Chemistry-1, Sketching/Drawing-1, Marketing/Management/Retail/Merchandising -1)
Qualification :
- Fashion Design : UG/PG Diploma in Fashion Design from NID/NIFT/NIIFT or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute. M.Sc. (Clothing & Textile) with at atleast 3 years epxerience in a reputed organiation.
- Textile Design : UG/PG Diploma in Textile Design from NID/NIFT/NIIFT or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute with at atleast 3 years epxerience in a reputed organiation.
- Textile Technology/ Textile Chemistry : B.Tech./ M.Tech. in Textile Technology/ Textile Chemistry or equivalent qualification from a reputed Insitute with at least 2 years experience in a reputed organisation.
- Sketching/Drawing : BFA/MFA or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute with at least 3 years experience in a reputed organisation.
- Marketing/Management/Retail/Merchandising : MBA/ PG Diploma in Apperal Marketing & Merchandising from NIFT or equivalent qualification from a reputed insitute with at least 2 years experience in a reputed orgnisation.
The appointment for initial one year will be on contract basis on a consolidated salary of Rs.15000/- PM.
