Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites application for the following  42422 posts  of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP and SSB and Rifleman in Assam Rifles : 

• Constable (General Duty - GD) - Male : 39574 posts in various states (Assam Rifles - 6060, BSF-10640, CISF-2250, CRPF-10189, SSB-4691, ITBP-5744), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20200 grade pay Rs.2000, Age : 18-23 years, Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School
• Constable (General Duty - GD) - Female : 2848 posts in various states (BSF-2547, CISF-250, CRPF-51), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000, Age : 18-23 years, Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School

Fee Payable : Rs.50/- (No fee for Women/ SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)  or SBI Challan or online payment through account with the State Bank of India.

How to Apply :   Offline :  A candidate must submit his/her application only to the concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Office of the Commission under whose jurisdiction the Centre selected by him / her falls . The addresses are given in the detailed advertisement. The last date of reciept of application is 04/01/2012 (11/01/2012 for the candidates of far-flung areas)

Preference will be given to those trained in Software/ Hardware of computers. Or B.Sc. Degree with Physics, Mathematics and English., Age : Between 18 and 25 years.
5. Asstt. Sub Inspector (Draughtsman) : 03 posts, Rs.4000-100-6000/-, Qualification : Matric with English, Science, Maths and two years Diploma in Draughtsman Course from Industrial Training Institute. , Age : Between 18 and 25 years.

Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs.50/- per candidate belonging to General and OBC category and no fee will be charged from SC/ST candidates. The candidates to attach Crossed Indian Postal Order (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of COMMANDANT, __________ SIGNAL BN, CRPF as applicable, payable at GPO of respective location of Signal Battalion where the application is sent .

Applications are invited from the Male/Female citizens of India for 12 post of Sub Inspector/GD (Male), 24 post of HC/GD (Male), 136 posts of Constable/GD (Male) and 04 posts of Constable/GD (Female) in CRPF against sports quota .

Pay Scale :

1. Sub Inspector (GD): Rs. 5500-175-9000/-
2. HC (GD) : Rs. 3200-85-4900/-
3. Constable (GD) : Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/-

Qualification :

1. Sub Inspector (GD) : Minimum Graduation from recognized University.
2. HC(GD) Constable (GD) :Minimum matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.

Age :

1. Sub Inspector (GD): Between 20 to 25 years as on 01.08.2007
2. HC(GD) & Constable (GD) : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2007

Application Fee : Indian Postal Order worth Rs. 50/- only (exempted for SC/ST ) payable to "The Commandant-103 Bn, RAF/CRPF " payable at New Delhi for General & OBC candidates only.

How to Apply : Applications in the prescribed format either with passport size photographs affixing on application be sent super scribing on envelop in bold letter "APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA" only to "The Commandant-103 Bn, RAF/CRPF, Wazirabad, Delhi-110094" so as to reach not later than 10/12/2007 through REGISTERED post only. Further 15 days extended period will be given to the candidates belonging to States of NE Region, Laddakh Division of J&K, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District, Lahaul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island, Lakshdweep.
