UPSC NDA and Naval Academy Exam-2008

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC)

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2008

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA and Naval Academy Examination, 2008 on 20th April, 2008 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for the 121st Course and Naval Academy for the 41st 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course commencing from December 2008. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible,

Vacancies: The approximate number of vacancies to be filled will be 335 (195 for Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for Air Focrce and 35 for Navale Academy (Executive Branch))

Eligibility:

• Age : Born between 2nd January, 1990 and 1st July,1992.
• Educational Qualificatio
• for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
• For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- only.
