CSEB invites applications for the post of Shift Chemist in the Pay Scale of Rs. 7725-15425.

The selected candidates shall be required to execute a bond to serve the Board for a period of a minimum four years including period of training. The bond amount shall be Rs. 1,00000/-.

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 65% marks from any recognised University. 10% relaxation in marks shall be given to SC/ST candidates of CG state. Candidates appearing in final examination can also apply.


Maximum Age Limit: 30 years for candidates other than CG domicile (As on 01.01.2007). The age limit for candidates of CG domicile shall be 36 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Widow/Divorcey and female candidates etc. will be given as per Govt. of CG rules in this regard.


Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates will be given as per the Govt. of CG guidelines in this regard. The SC/ST/OBC candidates of other states shall be considered under"UNRESERVED (UR)" category only.


Other Conditions:

1. The selection will be based on written test followed by interview.
2. The written test and interview shall be held at Raipur.
3. The written test will be of 2 hours duration and shall consist of 90 objective type questions. Out of which, 70 questions will be related to relevant subject, 10 questions of General Knowledge and 10 questions related with logical reasoning. Answer will be marked by the candidates in the answer sheet by black ball point pen only.
