National School of Drama invites application on plain paper from THEATRE ARTISTES for few vacant posts Artistes Grade A and Grade B in the Repertory Company. They will be appointed on a consolidated salary slab of Rs.15000-20000 and Rs.10000-15000 (under revision) per month respectively.

The appointment is on the contract basis, initially for one year only, which may be extended upto a maximum of 5 years on the basis of periodic assessment.

Qualification :

1. Graduate of NSD or recognised Theatre Training Institute or 5 year post training experience in Acting and eminence in the field for Artistes A and 2 year post training experience for Artistes Grade 'B'.
2. Experience of participating 1n 15 important productions for Artistes Grade A and 10 important productions for Grade B in Hindi/ or any other Indian languages performain major roles.
3. Proficiency in Hindi language and Speech.

Desirable : (i) Experience of Direction of Play, stage craft work. (ii) Knowledge of Dance, Music and allied arts, Acting theories and styles, Regional Languages and dialects.
