Engagement of 3000 Teachers (approx.) including Teachers (Primary), Teachers (Primary-Urdu), Teachers (Primary-Bengali), Teachers (Primary-Tamil), Teachers (Primary-Punjabi) and 150 Nursery Teachers in MCD on contract basis.

Qualification :

• Primary Teachers (Gen/Urdu/Tamil/Bengali) : Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent with 50% marks from a recognised Board/ University/ Institute and in case of SC/ST/PH with 45% marks. (ii) Two years Diploma/Certificate Course in ETE/JBT or B.El.Ed. from recognised institution. (iii) Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level. Candidates must have passed Urdu/ Tamil/ Bengali/ Punjabi for the post of Teachers (Primary - Urdu/ Tamil/ Bengali/ Punjabi) respectively.
• Nursery Teachers (for Females only ) : Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) Certificate or intermediate or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from recognised institution board/ university and (ii) Diploma/ Certificate in Nursery Teacher Training Education Program of a duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. (Nursery) from recognised instution/ board/ university.

Age : 20-27 years

3. Junior Engineer : Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution. Only persons who were Junior Engineer or above at the time of retirement from Central/ State/ Public Sector Undertaking are eligible for the post.
4. Architect : Bachelor in Architect from a recognised institution. Only retired persons who have served as Architect or above at the time of their retirement from Central/State/Public sector undertaking are eligible for the post.

Age : not more than 64 years as on 30/11/2007.

Selection will be through interview only.
