Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Head Constable (Telecommunication) in SSB. The posts are temporary, but likely to be permanent in the pay scale of Rs.3200-85-4900/-plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Government employees from time to time. . The posts have all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. The last date of receipt of application form is 31/03/2008.

• Head-Constable (Telecommunication) : 658 posts (SC-99,ST-51, OBC-174,UR-334), Pay Scale : Rs.3200-4900/-, Age : 18-23 years, Qualification : Matric or equivalent with two years I.T.I. Certificate in Electronics or Intermediate/10+ 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or institution or equivalent.

Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs.50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in the form of Crossed Bank Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, SSB, SHQ Gorakhpur. No fee will be charged from SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen..

How to Apply : Eligible and desirous candidates should send their applications in the prescribed proforma with attested passport size photographs duly affixed on the application form and admit card and duly completed in all respect to Dy. Inspector General, SSB Gorakhpur, Marketing Bhavan, F.C.I. Complex, PO- Fertilizer Factory, Urvarak Nagar, Gorahpur (UP) 237007. The envelope containing the application should be super- scribed in block letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF HEAD CONSTABLE (TELECOMMN.), alongwith application fee, attested copies of testimonials and admit card duly filled in.
