The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is a premier, national level center for education, training, research and consultancy in rural management and allied fields. Positions are open at all levels, i.e., Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, in the following area (preferred specialisations are shown within brackets). :

• General Management (Business Policy/ Strategic Management, Project Management)
• Professor : Pay Scale : Rs.18400–22900/-, Qualification for Scholars : Ph.D. with at least 10 years of teaching at PG level; research and significant publications , Qualification for Practitioner : Professional Post Graduate qualification with at least 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Associate Professor : Pay Scale : Rs.16400–20000/-, Qualification for Scholars : Ph.D. with at least 5 years of teaching at PG level; research and significant publications , Qualification for Practitioner : Professional Post Graduate qualification with at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Assistant Professor : Pay Scale : Rs.13000–18460/-, Qualification for Scholars :
  Ph.D. with potential for scholarship & teaching , Qualification for Practitioner : Professional Post - Graduate qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience .

Every faculty member is expected to have a portfolio of engagements including teaching, research and consulting. There is a modest provision of sharing from the consulting income of the Institute.
