Applications are invited from Indian Nationals both male and female who have passed their final MBBS examination for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Army Medical Corps.

Vacancies : 250 posts

Eligibility: Candidates must possess medical qualification. Post Graduate degree holders i.e. MD/MS/MCh/DM may also apply. PG Degree in following subjects will be given preference (a) Anaesthesia (b) Surgery (c) Obstetrics & Gyenaecology (d) Medicine.

Age : must not have attained 45 years of age on 31st Dec 2008.

Method of Selection : Eligible candidates will be called for interview by a Board of officers at the Office of DGAFMS, Ministry of Defence, 'M' Block, New Delhi in the month of July 2008.

Pay : The candidates on commissioning in Army Dental Corps will be granted the rank of Capt. in the scale of Rs.9450-9600-300-11400 plus rank pay of Rs.400/-. Non-practicing allowance at the rate of 25% of the Basic pay and Dearness Allowance.

Tenure : The tenure is of 5 years extendable by another 5 years (total SSC tenure 10 years) for those who are willing to continue subject to laid down eligibility criteria.

Fee : One DD of Rs.200/- payable at New Delhi in favour of "Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (APF Fund)"

Havildar Education in Group 'X' and 'Y' are to be recruited for the army Education corps to impart education to troops.

• Age Limit : 20 to 25 years as on 06 Oct 2008.
• Educational Qualification : Group X - BA B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. or MA or M.Sc. from any recognised university. Group Y - BA or B.Sc. without B.Ed. from any recognised university. The candidates should have working knowledge of either english or Hindi or both.
• Selection Procedure : first there will a screening of the candiddates for (i) Physical fitness Test and (ii) Medical Standards and (iii) those candidates selected in the screening and are medically fit will be permitted to apear in the written examination which will be conducted on at HQ Recruiting zone on 27 July 2008. Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) is India’s leading Shipbuilder with ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. MDL is a profit-making Central Government Schedule ‘A’ PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production, engaged primarily in the construction of Warships and Submarines for the Indian Navy. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the posts of Probationary Officer in the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay scale in the following disciplines:-

1. Mechanical Engineering : 22 posts
• Full time degree in Mechanical/ Mechanical & Industrial Engg/ Mechanical & Production Engg/ Production Engg/ Production Engg & Management / Production & Industrial Engineering from a recognised university / deemed university with minimum 55% marks.
2. Electronics Engineering : 04 posts

Pay and Allowances: Probationary Officers will be appointed in the IDA pay scale of Rs.8600-250-14600.

Processing Fee: Candidates applying for the posts of Probationary Officers are required to pay a processing fee of Rs.250/- by way of Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of Mazagon Dock Limited, payable at Mumbai. SC/ST/PH category candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.
