Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL), a premier central Public Sector Enterprise, under the Department of Atomic Energy involved in design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Nuclear Power Reactors invites application for the post of Stipendiary Trainees (Scientific Assistant -B (Group-B) and Stipendiary Trainees (Tradesmen-B (Group-C) to work in the areas of plant Operation, Maintenance and Services meeting the following requirements for initial posting at Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam, Kancheepuram Dist, Tamilnadu.
Category - 1 STIPENDIARY TRAINEES (SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT/ B)
- Total No. of Posts : 15 (SC-2 , ST-1 ,OBC-4 , UR-8 )
- Disciplines : Chemistry-2, Electrical (or) Electrical and Electronics Engineering-7,
Mechanical Engineering-4, Instrumentation & Electronics (or) Instrumentation (or)Electronics Engineering-2 - Age : Should be between 18 to 25 years as on 01.05.2007. Relaxable by 5 years in the case of SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Duration of training : 1 ½ years (18 months)
- Stipend during training: Rs.6500/- p.m. (consolidated)
Category - 2 STIPENDIARY TRAINEES (TRADESMEN/B)
- Total No. of Posts : 25 (SC-5, OBC-7 , UR-13)
- Disciplines : Process / Plant Operation-10, Electrician-7, Welder-1, Machinist-1,
Millwright Fitter-6 - Age : Should be between 18 to 24 years as on 01.05.2007. Relaxable by 5 years in the case of SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates..
- Duration of training : 2 years
- Stipend during training: Rs.4000/- p.m. (consolidated) for first year and Rs.5000/- p.m. (consolidated) for second year
