Applications are invited for the following posts :

1. Scientist Gr.IV(2) (post code-I) Information Technology Division : 1 post (ST), Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-, Age : 35 years,Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science/Engg.) / MCA or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience in Application Development Implementation & Handholding or M.E./M.Tech.(Computer Science/Engg.) or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience in Application Development Implementation & Handholding or Ph.D. Science (Computer science) with minimum 1 year experience in Application Development Implementation & Handholding or Ph.D. Engg. (Computer) having knowledge in Application Development Implementation & Handholding.
2. Scientist Gr.IV(2) (post code-II) Intellectual Property Management Division : 1 post (ST), Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-, Age : 35 years,Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) or equivalent qualification with 3 years experience OR Ph.D. (Organic Chemistry) with one year experience in R&D activities as evidenced by publications in reputed scientific journals/patents filed, Desirable : Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights.
3. Gr.II(4) (post code-III) Integrated Management & Project Accounting : 5 posts (OBC-1, UR-4) Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500/-, Age : 35 years,Qualification : SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificates in relevant trade or SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate with 12 years experience, Desirable : Graduate with experience of software development projects and analysis of accounting/financial data on computer.
4. Quick Hire Fellow (post code-IV) New Millennium Indian Technology Leadership Initiative Project (each one in discipline of Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Electronics & Communication and Electrical Engineering) : 4 posts, Pay : Consolidate Pay, Age : 40 years,Qualification : M.Tech. or equivalent with three years experience/ Ph.D.(Science)/ Ph.D.(Engg.) with outstanding academic record and proven ability for high quality R&D work, Desirable : should have experience in industrial R&D in the area of specialisation, knowledge of operational skills, flair for oral and written communication and strong analytical abilities.
5. Junior Stenographer (post code-V) (Hindi/English) : 7 posts (OBC-2, UR-5) Pay Scale : Rs. 4000-6000/-, Age : 28 years,Qualification : 10+2/XII or equivalent and speed of 80 WPM in shorthand and 35/40 WPM in Typewriting in Hindi/English. Selection will be made on the basis of a competitive proficiency test.
6. Assistant (Gen.) Gr.III (post code-VI) (Hindi/English) : 26 posts (UR-14, SC-05, ST-02, OBC-05) Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : 28 years,Qualification : 10+2/XII or equivalent and Typing sped of 25/30 WPM in Hindi/English.
7. Assistant (F&A) Gr.III (post code-VII) (Hindi/English) : 02 posts (UR-02Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : 28 years,Qualification : 10+2/XII with Commerce as one of the subjects and Typing sped of 25/30 WPM in Hindi/English, Desirable : Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, and Power Point for above two posts.

Requests for application forms by post received after 25/06/2007 will not be entertained. (b) Candidates for the posts of Quick Hire Fellow should submit their bio-data on a plain paper alongwith the application fee, recent passport size photograph and other relevant documents. (c) application for the post of junior Stenographer, Assistants should be submitten in a saperate progorma which is available at http://governmentjob.googlepages.com/csir.pdf.

Completed applications, along with synopsis sheet, photocopies of relevant documents and application fee in the form of DD of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Joint Secretary (Admn.), CSIR, payable at State Bank of India, Main Branch, New Delhi should be sent to the Joint Secretary (Admn.), CSIR, Rafi Marg, New Delhi-110001 so as to reach on or before 02/07/2007. Candidates applying more than one post should submit saperate applications along with application fee of Rs.100/- for each post. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
