The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (K.V.S.) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. K.V.S. intends to make recruitment of Teaching posts and Miscellaneous Teaching posts for its schools spread all over India. Applications are invited in the prescribed format from Indian Nationals for Special Recruitment Drive to fill up backlog reserved vacancies for SCs and STs and vacancies for the above posts in KVS for the current year 2006-2007 and for drawing a panel of candidates. 3. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : (i)Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject or Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the respective subjects (ii) B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University.
   (iii) Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English media (will be judged by way of descriptive type written examination of +2 standard).
4. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

POST GRADUATE TEACHERS COMPUTER SCIENCE (PGT Comp. Sc.) : 755 posts

1. SCALE OF PAY: Rs. 6500-200-10500

3. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : (i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent; and (ii) Diploma or Certificate in basic teachers’ training of a duration of not less than two years. or
   Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). (iii) Competence to teach through Hindi and English media (will be judged by way of descriptive type written examination of 10th standard).
