Recruitment of Engineers in Indian AirLines

INDIAN AIRLINES Limited.
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for filling up the following posts.

• Dy. Engineer ( Support Service-Industrial Engg. ) - 5 posts
  Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Production/ Industrial Engineering/ Electronics & Communication or its equivalent from Govt. recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Dy. Engineer ( Support Service-Training ) : 3 posts
  Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication or its equivalent from Govt. recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Asstt. Manager ( Plant Engineering ) : 11 posts
  Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production/ Thermal/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Aeronautical or its equivalent from Govt. recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Graduate Engineer Trainee ( Support Service-Technical ) : 29 posts :
  Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication or its equivalent from Govt. recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Interested candidates, who meet the requisite eligibility criteria, may logon to www.indianairlines.in and fill in the Online Applications Format. Before applying a must for candidate

1. A valid e-mail account.
2. A non-refundable DD of Rs. 500/- (not applicable for SC/ST) in favour of Indian Airlines Limited payable at New Delhi.
3. Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates.

After applying online candidates would be required to take the printouts of Registration Slip cum Application Format and send the same alongwith DD as stated above after writing name and Registration number at the back of DD to General Manager (Personnel), Indian Airlines Limited, Ailines House, 113, urudwara Rakabganj Raod, New Delhi - 110001 through Post/Courier so as to reach by 18/11/2006.

Combined Graduate Level (Pre) Examination 2006 - SSC

STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION

Staff Selection Commission will hold on 04/02/2007, an open competitive examination for recruitment to the following posts in various Ministries/Departments by selecting/screening the candidates for the Main Examination. The Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2006 is likely to be held in second half of 2007. The recruitment through the Combined Preliminary Examination is likely to be made for the Following category of posts:

1. Inspectors of Income Tax / Inspector (Central Excise) / Inspector (Preventive Officer) / Inspector (Examiner) in Custom Houses (Group B Non-Gazetted) in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-10500/-
2. Assistants for Offices/Organisations like CSS, AFHQ, Railway Board, Min. of External Affairs etc. and Inspector of Posts (Group B Non-Gazetted) in pay scale of Rs. 5500-9000.
3. Sub-Inspectors in CBI and Assistant Enforcement Officers in the pay scale of Rs. 5500-9000.
4. Divisional Accountant/Auditors/Junior Accountants / UDCs in various Central Government Departmnts.
   

Age Limit:

(i) 18-27 years as on 01/08/2007 for Inspector of Income Tax/Inspector (Central Excise)/Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/Inspector of Posts / Ass.. Enforcement Officer and Divisional Accountants / Auditors /UDCs

(ii) 20 to 27 years as on 01/08/2007 for posts of Assistants and Sub-inspectors in CBI.

(iii) Ususal age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ExS etc. as per Govt. orders.)

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduation in any discipline from any recognised Unviersity as on 01/08/2007.

Fee: Rs. 50/- No fee for SC/ST/PH and Ex-Serviceman. Fee will be paid only in the form of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" These stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country.

Closing Date: Last date for filling of the application is 20/11/2006 (5PM) and 01/12/2006 for candidates in remote areas.
