MMRDA was set up on the 26th January, 1975 under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974 Goverment of Maharashtra as an apex body for planning and co-ordination of development activities in the Region. Applications are invited for the following posts in MMRDA. :

1. Additional Chief Engineer : 01 post, Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering. Post Graduate in Civil Engineering preferred., Experience : 13 years out of which 7 years experience in planning execution of large infrastructure projects in a position equivalent to Superintending Engineer., Age : Not more than 50 years, Pay Scale : Rs.14300-18300/-
2. Superintending Engineer (Transportation) : 01 post, Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineer. Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Transportation Planning / Engineering is essential. , Experience : 10 years experience in Transportation Engineering or Transportation Planning field out of which 5 years should be in a large organisation of Transportation Planning field., Age : Not more than 50 years, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-16500/-
3. Sr. Transportation Planner : 01 post (SC), Qualification : Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or in Planning AND Post Graduate Degree in Transportation Planning or equivalent. , Experience : 7 years, out of which 3 years must be as a Transportation Planner or its equivalent, Pay Scale : Rs.12000-16500/- , Age : 50 years.
4. Transportation Planner/ Engineer : 08 posts (SC-1, ST-1, DTNT-1, OBC-2, UR-3), Qualification : Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or in Planning. Post Graduate Degree in Transportation Planning or equivalent., Experience : 3 years, Pay Scale : Rs.10000-15200/- , Age : 40 years.
5. Sr. Statistical Officer : 01 post (UR), Qualification : Degree in Architecture or in Civil Engineering or its equivalent. , Age : 40 years, Experience : 7 years experience., Pay Scale : Rs.10650-15850/-
6. Town Planner : 02 posts (SC-1,UR-1), Qualification : Degree in Architecture/ Civil Engineering from a recognised university/institute. Post Graduate degree/Diploma in Urban and Regional planning., Experienc : 3 years experiece., Age : Not more than 40 years., Pay Scale : Rs.10000-15200/-
7. Dy.
