The Institute of Microbial Technology, (IMTECH), Chandigarh is one of the constituent establishments of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), wishes to recruit 10 Project Assistants (Level-II) & 3 Project Assistants (Level-I) on purely temporary basis to work in different R&D Projects in various areas of the biological sciences:

  1. Assistant Executive Engineer Group III(4) (Civil)  : 01 Post (UR), Pay Scale:- Rs.8000-275-13500/-, Qualification : :- Ist class B.E/B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with 6 years relevant experience, Age : 35 years
  2. Assistant Engineer Group III(3) (Electrical) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.6500-200-10500/-, Qualification : Ist class B.E/B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with 3 years relevant experience, Age : 35 years
  3. Junior Engineer Group III(1) (Electrical) : 01 Post (OBC),  Pay Scale:- Rs.4500-125-7000/-, Qualification:- Ist Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering of 3 years full time duration or its equivalent, Age : 28 years.
  4. Technical Assistant Group III(1) :  16 Posts (5-UR,3-SC, 2-ST,  4-OBC, 1-PH(O.H/Hearing Handicapped) & 1-Sports person), Pay Scale: Rs.4500-125-7000/-, Age : 28 years.
