U.P. Public Service Commission, Allahabad shall hold a written examination in the month of July 2007 at Allahabad for recruitment to the post of Asstt. Registrar in UP State University (Centralised) servces. The selection will based on written examination and interview.

Statistical Investigator Exam 2007 by SSC

STATISTICAL INVESTIGATOR GRADE IV EXAMINATION, 2007

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on Sunday, the 24th June, 2007 an open compettitive examination for recruitment to the post of Special Investigator Grade IV of Subordinate Statistical Service (SSS), a Group 'C' non-Gazetted non-ministrial post in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation in the pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000 all over country.

1. Vacancies : Approx. 114
2. Age Limit : Not exceeding 26 years as on 16/03/2007.
3. Educational Qualificiation : Bachelor Degree with Statistics as one of the main subject OR Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a paper studies in one year/two year/ all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subject OR Bachelor's Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper studies in one year/two year/ all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subject OR Bachelor's Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studies in one year/two year/ all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subject from a recognised institute or equivalent.
4. Fee : Rs. 80/-. No fee for SC/ST/PH and Ex-servicemen candidates. Fee should be paid in the form of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" available at the counter of all post offices of the country.
5. Closing Date : The last date for receipt of application in the commission will be 16/03/2007. For those candidates who are living in remote areas, the las date will be 23/03/2006.

Special Class Railway Apprentices' Exam 2007 by UPSC

SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICES' EXAMINATION (SCRA) , 2007

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination (SCRA), 2007 on 22nd July, 2007 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

Eligibility:

• Age : Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on 1st August, 2007. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
• Educational Qualification: The intermediate or an equivalent examination of a University/Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- only.
