Applications from Indian nationals are invited to fill up 692 posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive) Male in Delhi Police in the pay Scale of Rs.5500-9000/- in following categories:

• Sub-Inspector : 692 posts
  • Open : 554 posts (UR-281, SC-76,ST-56,OBC-141)
  • Departmental : 69 posts (UR-36, SC-10,ST-07, OBC-16)
  • Ex-Servicemen : 69 posts (UR-36, SC-10,ST-07, OBC-16)

Recruitment will be held at Delhi for which candidates from all parts of the country fulfilling conditions will be considered :

• Age : 20 to 25 years as 01/07/2007 (Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years to OBC, 5 years for sportsman, upto 40 years for departmental candidates)
• Height : Min. 170 cms. , Chest : 81-85 cms.
• Educational Qualification : Graduate from a Recognized University.
• Pay Scale : Rs. 5500-9000/-

Physical Test : Eligible candidates will have to qualify 1600 meter race in 6 minutes 30 seconds followed by High jump - 3 feet 6 inches and Long jump - 13 feet.

Written Test : Those who qualify in the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test as stated above, shall be put through a Written Test of 3 hrs duration which will carry 200 marks. Quations will be of objective type and include questions of Resoning, GK/ Current Affairs, Numerical Ability and English.

Booklet and Application form shall be available for sale at the Offices of Application Form Sele Counter, Pitampura Police Lines, Delhi, Office of DCP/3rd Bn, DAP, Vikas Puri, Delhi and Office of DCP/7th Bn, DAP, Malviya Nagar, Delhi and PTS Wazirabad, Delhi from 01/11/2007 to 10/11/2007 on payment of Rs.50/- per booklet. The booklet will be give free to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

The Applicaiton Form duly completed shall be accepted in Application Form Sele Counter, Pitampura Police Lines, Delhi, Office of DCP/3rd Bn, DAP, Vikas Puri, Delhi and Office of DCP/7th Bn, DAP, Malviya Nagar, Delhi and PTS Wazirabad, Delhi from 01/11/2007 to 12/11/2007 from 10 am to 4 PM.
