Applications are invited for the following posts within 30 days from the date of advertisement in the prescribed format.
The official export inspection and certification body of India under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, needs professionals for placement in Export Inspection Agencies for the posts as mentioned below :
- Assistant Director (Tech) : 10 posts (UR-4,SC-2,ST-2,OBC-1,PH-1), Pay Scale: Rs. Rs.8000-275-13500/-, Age Limit : 25 to 35 years (up to 40 years for SC candidates) as on the last date of receipt of the application., Qualifcation : Degree in Technology or post graduate in Science or its equivalent. About 5 years experience in inspection, standardization, testing etc. in the respective fields., Probation : 2 years (subject to extension)
- Technical Officer : 09 posts (UR-3,SC-1,ST-1,OBC-1,PH-1), Pay Scale : Rs.5500-175-9000/-, Age Limit : 25 to 35 years (relaxation as per rules) as on the last date of receipt of the application., Qualification : Degree in Engineering/Technology / Degree in Science (Preferable Honours/ post graduate)/ Diploma in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent. About 3 years experience in standardization, testing, inspection in the respective field., Probation : 2 years (subject to extension)
- Jr. Scientific Assistant : 02 posts (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.5000-150-8000/-, Age Limit : 20 to 30 years (relaxation as per rules) as on the last date of receipt of the application., Qualification : Degree in Engineering/Technology / Degree in Science (Preferable Honours/ post graduate)/ Diploma in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent. Experience of testing., Probation : 2 years (subject to extension)
- All these above professionals are required in the areas of Chemistry/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ Microbiology/ Dairy/ Agriculture/ Fisheries/ Food & Nutrition/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Veterinary Science etc. and Computer/IT
- Senior Accounts Officer : 01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275-13500/-, Age Limit : 25 to 35 years (relaxation as per rules) as on the last date of receipt of the application., Qualification : Degree or equvalent. About 5 years experience in Accounts work in a Government/Semi Government/ Autonomous Body of which 2 years must be in supervisory capapcity. Knowledge of Government rules and regulations., Probation : 2 years (subject to extension)
- Assistant Director (Non-Technical) : 01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275-13500/-, Age Limit : 25 to 35 years (relaxation as per rules) as on the last date of receipt of the application., Qualification : Degree or equivalent. About 5 years experience in administration/ finance/ publicity/ public relations etc. in the respective field., Probation : 2 years (subject to extension)
How to Apply : The Candidates fulfilling the above requirements may send their applications in the prescribed format along with application fee of Rs.150/- by Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of Export Inspection Council of India payable at Delhi to the Additional Director, Export Inspection Council of India, 3rd Floor, NDYMCA Cultural Centre Building, 1 Jai Singh Road, New Delhi-110001 within 30 days i.e. upto 03/03/08. The SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Separate applications are required for each post quoting the post applied for.
