UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 13th December 2007 (20th December 2007 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :
- Fourteen (14) Statistical Investigators, Grade-I (SC-2,ST-1,OBC-3) in the Office of the Registrar General, India, Home Affairs Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500/-, Qualification: Master's Degree in Statistics or Mathematics (with Statistics) or Economics (with Statistics) or Commerce (with Statistics) of a recognised university or equivalent, Age : 30 years
- Eighteen (18) posts in Senior Grade of Indian Information Service (SC-3,ST-1,OBC-4) (PH-2) (Urdu-2, Kashmiri-2, Manipuri-2, Marathi-1, English-4, Hindi-3, Assemese-1, Bengali-1, Gujarati-1, Malayalam-1) in Information & Broadcasting Ministry , Pay Scale : Rs.6500-10500/-, Qualification : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent (ii) Diploma in journalism from a recognsied university/Institution or equivalent. Candidates must have studied the concerned Indian langiage upto Secondary School level., Experience : 3 years experience of journalistic publicity or publication work in a Government department or any Newspaper/News Agency. Age : 30 years
- One Deputy Director (Non-Technical) in the Office of the Textile Commissioner in Textiles Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-, Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent., Experience : 10 years' experince in responsible capacity or work connected with Handloom or Textile Industry or Commerce or Industry in general together with Secretarial/Organisational/Administrative experiecne. , Age : 45 years
- One Assistant Director Gr.-I (Costing) in the Office of the Textile Commissioner in Textiles Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Qualification: Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost & Works Accounts of India or equivalent., Experience : Some experience of dealing with costing and financial problems. , Age : 35 years
- One Assistant Director Gr.-I (Design) in the Office of the Textile Commissioner in Textiles Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Qualification: Degree or equivalent Diploma in Fine Art or Applied Art or Textile Designs from a recognised university or equivalent., Experience : 3 years practical experience in creative textile designing or painting in a reputed handloom or a dye house or handloom establishment. , Age : 35 years
- Two Professors (Elcetronics & Communication Engineering) in Ambedkar Institute of Technology under Directorate of Training and Technical Education in Delhi Government, Pay Scale : Rs. 16400-22400/-, Qualification: Ph.D. Degree with first class degree at Bachelor's or Master's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from a recognsied University or equivalent (ii) 10 years experiencee in Teaching/Industry/Research, out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent OR Candidate from Industry/Profession with Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology and Professional work which is significant and can be recognised as equivalent to Ph.D. Degree and with 10 years Industrial/Professional experience Out of which at least 5 years should be at senior level comparable to that of an Assistant Professor would also be eligible., Age : 50 years
