PUNJAB CIVIL SERVICES (JUDICIAL BRANCH) EXAMINATION, 2007

A competitive examination for recruitment to 52 posts of Punjab Civil Services (Judicial Branch) will be held by the Commission from 15th July 2007 at Patiala.

1. Vacancies : 52
2. Pay Scale : Rs. 9000-14500
3. Age Limit : Min. 21 years and max. 35 years on 12/03/2007
4. Qualification: A Degree in Law from any recognised university.
5. Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). The candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of all States and Backward Classes categories of Punjab only shall pay an examination fee of Rs 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred & Fifty only) through a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of The Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission payable at Patiala. The candidates must write their name and address in block capital letters on the reverse of the Bank Draft.

How to Get Application Form: The application form and Nomination Roll Form 'B' alongwith the instructions to candidates containing the syllabus, etc. may be obtained from the reception counter of the Commission's Office at Patiala, on payment of Rs. 200/- (Rs. Two Hundred only) or by post from the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala - 147001 by remitting Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred and Fifty only) through a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, payable at Patiala with a self-addressed envelope of 24cm x 11cm indicating the name of the post on the top left corner of the envelope, The candidates must write their name and address in Block Capital letters on the reverse of the bank draft.

How to Apply: The candidates are required to submit both, application form and Nomination Roll alongwith the requisite examination fee, attested copies of certificates and three identical passport size recent photographs (duly attested by Gazetted officer on the reverse) to the respective District and Sessions Judge by the last date of submission of application form i.e. 12-3-2007 before 5 p.m. in the manner indicated in the Information Sheet. Candidates from States other than Punjab should submit, their Application Forms & Nomination Roll to the District & Sessions Judge, Patiala by the prescribed last date for submission of applications.
