Appointments for Faculty Positions

The Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (UPRIMSR) , Saifai, Etawah is an autonomous institute established on the line AIIMS and Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Walk-in Interview will e conducted from 14th June 2007 to 16th June 2007. Eligible candidates will have to appear before the Selection committee with original certificates. Venue of interview at RIMSR, Safai, Etawah Administrative Block.

  1. Anatomy : Lecturer -02
  2. Physiology : Lecturer -01 (Biophysics)
  3. TB & Chest : Lecturer - 01, Senior Resident - 01

  5. Psychiatry : Lecturer - 01, Senior Resident - 01

Qualification : A Medical qualification included in the Medical Council act, 1956. A Post Graduate qualification e.g MD or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience : Lecturer - Requisite recongnsied postgraduate qualification in the subject (ii) three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognised medical college as resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor., For Lecturer of Biophysics - The candidates should possess MD (Biophysics)/ M.Sc.(Biophysics) and 3 years teaching experience in recognised Medical college, Senior Resident - PG degree in respective subject/speciality.

Pay Scale :

  1. Lecturer - Rs.8550-275-14600/-
  2. Senior Resident : as per AIIMS

Age : Maximum age as on 01/07/2007 35 years

Reservation and age relaxation as per UP Govt. rules.

Fee : submit a fee of Rs. 500/- in the form of DD in favour of Finance Officer, Rural Institute of Medical Scinces & Research, Saifai, Etawah at the time of interview.

Special Recruitment for Trainee Pilot in Air India

Air-India Limited invites applications for the post of Trainee Pilot from Indian Nationals belonging exclusively to the SC/ST/OBC Community fulfilling thefollowing requirements to fill up the existing reserved vacancies for SC, ST & OBC :
  • Number of Vacancies : 30 (SC :06, ST : 07, OBC : 17)

ACADEMIC Qualification : Minimum education of H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent. Graduates in Engineering or B.Sc. (Maths and Physics) / B.Sc. (Aviation) will be given due weightage.


Technical Qualificiation : Commercial Pilot’s Licence with an endorsement on multi-engine aircraft.

UPPER AGE LIMIT: 40 years for SC/ST & 38 years for OBC candidates as on 01/06/2007.

SELECTION PROCEDURE : Eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test followed by personal interview (both at Mumbai).

REMUNERATION : Trainee Pilots will be paid a stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month during their training period. On successful completion of training and on obtaining endorsement on stipulated aircraft in the fleet of Air-India, they will be appointed as Co-Pilot in the pay scale of Rs. 7150-200-7550-225-7775-250-8025-275-8850 (pre-revised) on completion of stipulated conditions.

HOW TO APPLY : Candidates meeting the above requirements may apply on plain paper (typed) as per the prescribed format. Applications should be forwarded to the Executive Director-Operations, Operations Department, Air India, Old Airport, Santa Cruz (East), Mumbai-400029. OBC candidates should submit a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Air India Limited, Mumbai payable at Mumbai alongwith their application. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of this fee. Application should be accompanied with 2 recent passport size photographs (1 fixed on the format in the space provided).
