Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Aug 2007 at NAVAC, INS Zamorin Ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 21 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 Aug 1982 to 01 Aug 1986; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : (a) BE/B.Tech. with 60% marks in Electronics/ Electricals/ Mechanical/ IT/Computer Science OR (b) A Post Graduate in Science with minimum 50% marks in Physics or Mathematics.

Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male - 157 cms and Female - 152 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 connectable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 19 and 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 Aug 1982 to 01 Feb 1988; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : (a) A Science Graduate with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics OR (b) A Post Graduate in Science with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics.
